Buffalo Wild Wings Reveals the Secret to Saving Time Managing Quality Issues

Buffalo Wild Wings, a fast-casual chain with over 1,200 locations, struggled with slow, clunky, email-heavy processes for reporting and resolving supplier quality issues across restaurants, distribution centers and suppliers. To improve visibility and efficiency they adopted Trustwell’s Manage + Monitor solution to centralize supplier management and quality-issue reporting on a single dashboard.

Trustwell implemented real-time quality incident reporting (QIR) workflows, automated email notifications with direct QIR links, and routing to the correct supplier or distributor—eliminating back-and-forth emails and centralizing communications. As a result, Buffalo Wild Wings cut time spent managing QIRs from about 25 hours/week to 2–3 hours/week (nearly a 90% reduction), sped many responses from days to hours, reduced long-cycle responses from ~30 days to about 6 days, and expects a 15% increase in QIR utilization.
