Amazon Produce Network Increases Efficiency and Visibility by Streamlining Supplier Management

Amazon Produce Network, the largest importer and distributor of mangoes in the U.S., faced the challenge of managing complex global supplier documentation and meeting multiple retailer food-safety and traceability requirements. To centralize certificates, audits and traceability data and to improve visibility across their grower network, Amazon Produce Network turned to Trustwell and implemented Trustwell’s supplier engagement and traceability platform (the equivalent of the supplier management solution they had first encountered through a retailer portal).

Trustwell’s platform centralized all grower documents, provided dashboard reminders for expiring certificates, and enabled easy reporting and document sharing with customers and internal stakeholders. As a result, Trustwell helped Amazon Produce Network move from manual paperwork to a few-click access for compliance records, improved proactive compliance and supply-chain visibility, reduced time spent on document management, and freed staff to focus on strategic growth initiatives.
