Trueshopping Ltd, a UK online bathroom retailer operating across 18 sites, faced the challenge of building trust and standing out in a competitive e‑commerce market where direct customer engagement is limited. To drive more sales and improve ad performance, the company needed a way to show credible social proof that reassured shoppers and encouraged conversions.
Trueshopping implemented Trustpilot using Kickstart Credits, started collecting reviews quickly, and displayed them via TrustBox widgets on its sites and Facebook, also gaining Seller Rating Extensions on Google Ads. The results included a 3.85% uplift in ad CTR, organic brand searches nearly doubled (from 4.8% to 7.96%), an 8.33% increase in overall website conversion rate, and five‑star ratings on six sites while targeting a TrustScore of 9 across all sites.
