Rev.com boosts Google Seller Ratings through Trustpilot

Rev.com, an online transcription service, faced a customer review crisis: its proprietary review system couldn’t verify real customers, making it ineligible for Google Seller Ratings and vulnerable to fake reviews from competitors. As a result, Rev needed a trusted partner to clean up the process, improve search visibility, and help increase click-through and conversion rates. Rev turned to Trustpilot and its verified review platform.

Trustpilot helped Rev collect verified customer reviews at scale by automatically inviting customers to review via email and enabling the ratings to appear across paid and organic search. About a year later, Rev had 2,000 positive verified reviews and a Google seller rating near five stars, which showed in its AdWords ads. Rev estimates Trustpilot drove a 5% to 12% increase in AdWords click-through rates, improved conversions, and a 5% increase in perceived quality.
