Protect Line, one of the UK’s leading life insurance brokers, needed a stronger way to build trust and improve marketing performance in a sector where customers can be skeptical about insurance. To help address this challenge, Protect Line used Trustpilot and its TrustBox widgets to showcase customer reviews and social proof across its website, emails, ads, and campaign landing pages.
By implementing Trustpilot prominently throughout the funnel, Protect Line saw a 14% increase in CTR on pages with TrustBoxes and a 4.3% boost in conversion rate when Trustpilot branding and star ratings were added to ads. Trustpilot also helped lift credibility in phone-based and referral-driven campaigns, including a 2.6% increase in contact from SMS messaging that linked to their Trustpilot reviews page.
