ID Wholesaler, the world’s largest retailer of photo identification products, partnered with Trustpilot in 2015 to tackle several challenges: improve PPC landing-page performance, reduce wasted ad spend, boost engagement across web and social channels, and motivate employees around customer-focused goals. The company needed a simple, scalable way to build trust and convert more browsers into buyers.
They implemented Trustpilot TrustBoxes (notably the Carousel) on key landing pages, ran A/B tests, and expanded verified reviews across their site, social posts, emails and Google Seller Ratings. Results were dramatic: a 63% increase in email-sign ups (+72% revenue), up to 167% more transactions (+164% revenue) on product pages, and a 130% transaction lift with a 315% revenue jump on a top-performing page. Showing reviews externally also boosted engagement and ad performance, while sharing five-star feedback internally inspired and unified the sales team.
