Rush49, an up-and-coming online deals site, faced consumer skepticism as a newer company offering very low prices and needed a way to prove legitimacy. In November 2015 they partnered with Trustpilot to automate review collection and surface authentic customer feedback across paid ads, organic search and their site.
Within a year they gathered nearly 3,000 reviews (94% 4–5 stars) and a 9.3 TrustScore, unlocking Google Seller Ratings and boosting paid-search CTR by 60%, conversions from PPC by 57% and lowering cost-per-conversion 21% (150% more conversions per 1,000 impressions). Their Trustpilot profile ranks highly for review queries (58% CTR), review widgets generated 566,000 impressions in May, an email campaign with the Trustpilot rating drove a 2.7% CTR (3,404 visitors), and customer feedback directly informed improvements like removing fees, a tutorial video and a site redesign.
