How Manfrotto uses reviews to build a customer centric strategy

Manfrotto, a Northern Italy–based maker of professional camera tripods, lighting stands and bags with a 50‑year history and operations across Europe, the US and Asia, wanted to build its eCommerce strategy around customer needs. The challenge was to better understand customer sentiment, improve satisfaction and streamline problem‑solving across markets to drive sales and loyalty.

Manfrotto partnered with Trustpilot to collect and analyze reviews company‑wide, respond quickly to negative feedback, and surface ratings on its site via customized TrustBox widgets and APIs. The program delivered a TrustScore of 8.21 from 1,197 reviews, made Manfrotto eligible for Google Seller Ratings (after 150 reviews) and produced an average ~30% uplift in Google Shopping CTR (with some campaigns up to ~72% improvement), while speeding up and lowering the cost of issue resolution.
