A Trustpilot Case Study
Fords of Winsford is a family-owned, award-winning used car supermarket established in 1959 with two sites in Winsford and Trafford and some 1,800 cars in stock. Despite strong TV and radio advertising, the company struggled with scattered online reviews and wanted a central, trustworthy way to manage its digital reputation and build customer trust, so it selected Trustpilot for its brand recognition and SEO reach.
Fords implemented a two-phase Trustpilot strategy—first collecting hundreds of impartial reviews to build a healthy score, then promoting its rating and customer stories across its website and social channels using Trustpilot tools. The team now manages reviews centrally, shares a review a day on social, reviews feedback quarterly and is integrating ratings into the customer journey; as a result they achieved an Excellent rating (around 9/10 with ~1,200+ reviews), improved SEO, transparency and customer confidence, and stronger online-to-offline conversion.
