Dashlane, a leading password manager and Webby Award honoree, faced a core challenge: persuading prospects to trust them with sensitive personal and business data. Communicating security and credibility quickly was critical to converting users and driving premium upgrades.
Partnering with Trustpilot in May 2015, Dashlane collected and showcased customer reviews across ads, landing pages, homepage widgets and email campaigns, and used review language to refine messaging. The payoff: over 97% of reviews are 4–5 stars, a 93% lift in paid-search click-through rate, a 14.5% increase in landing-page conversions, a 4.3% bump in downloads from homepage widgets, a +1% email CTR, and materially higher ROI and upgrades.
