Case Study: Off to Work strengthens Right to Work checks with TrustID electronic scanning

A TrustID Case Study

Preview of the Off to Work Case Study

Off to Work deter illegal workers with electronic scanning

Off to Work, a nationwide staffing provider supporting clients at Royal Palaces, sporting events, and high-security Government venues, needed to strengthen its Right to Work checks and reduce the risk of employing illegal workers. With more than 4,500 temporary staff checks to complete each year, the company wanted a faster, more reliable way to validate identity documents while protecting its reputation and client trust. Vendor TrustID provided an electronic desktop identity scanning solution to support this process.

TrustID’s document scanners were introduced across Off to Work’s offices to authenticate visible and hidden security features in passports, identity cards, visas, and other proof-of-identity documents. The solution improved efficiency and confidence in the screening process, and Off to Work reported that it had already identified several fake documents that may otherwise have been missed. This gave the team greater assurance that they were deterring fraudulent applicants and helping safeguard compliance.
