BNP Paribas, a leading European financial institution, needed to enhance the security and user experience of its "My Corporate Bank" e-banking platform. The challenge was to implement a frictionless login process that complied with strict PSD2 and GDPR regulations while moving away from traditional hardware-based authentication methods. To address this, the bank partnered with TrustBuilder.

TrustBuilder implemented its SaaS-based TB Authentication Manager, which provides a passwordless, deviceless MFA solution. This allowed users to authenticate using a PIN and a possession factor directly through their browser, eliminating the need for separate hardware. The solution was rapidly deployed to tens of thousands of users, achieving PSD2 compliance, high security, and a streamlined, user-friendly experience, all while keeping the solution free for BNP Paribas' customers.
