The Attic, a retail customer of Trum.pia since 2007, wanted to run an interactive mobile contest that would engage customers and boost participation while offering a prize and a discount incentive. Using Trum.pia’s mobile marketing platform, they asked people to text in a vote for an NBA player to a shortcode for a chance to win a “Mystery” Meister Watch and receive 20% off at The Attic Online Shop.
Trum.pia implemented an SMS-based campaign with automated replies and a VIP promo code for participants. In less than 5 days, 264 people texted in and joined the contest, expanding The Attic’s mobile database and contributing to increased online sales.
