PointBurst, a social media management platform serving musical artists, B2C companies and faith-based organizations, was hired to run the Teen Challenge at the TEDxOrangeCoast Annual Conference where six teams presented to roughly 20,000 attendees. Their challenge was finding a fast, reliable way to collect and analyze audience votes in real time so winners could be announced without long delays.
PointBurst used Trumpia’s text-to-vote platform, assigning unique keywords for each team and having attendees text their choice to 99000. Trumpia tracked votes in real time, allowing PointBurst to close voting shortly before the announcement and declare winners immediately, delivering a smooth, successful voting experience.
