Chick-fil-A, a national fast-food chain headquartered in Georgia with about 1,600 locations in 39 states plus D.C. (as of June 2011), wanted to better connect with customers by launching interactive text marketing campaigns to deliver promotions, coupons, restaurant alerts and collect contact information.

One Virginia location used Trumpia’s mobile keyword and short-code system (keyword CFACD to short code 69302), promoting it across signage, social media and the restaurant blog to build opt-ins. The campaign collected nearly 2,000 mobile numbers, sent 3–4 MMS picture coupons per week, and drove strong engagement — about 400 coupon redemptions in one summer campaign (nearly a 20% redemption rate), turning slow days into busy ones.
