FundRazr, a global crowdfunding platform that has helped raise over $50 million from more than 40,000 campaigns across 20 countries, faced the challenge of scaling user safety and access while authenticating users internationally. To address this, FundRazr partnered with Trulioo, deploying Trulioo’s cyber ID product (and later its GlobalGateway service) to verify identities at login and create a layer of trust for donors and campaign creators.
Trulioo’s solution runs behind FundRazr’s registration and login processes to provide real-time authenticity scores, flag suspect accounts, and expedite moderation. By replacing manual social‑media checks with automated identity verification, Trulioo helped FundRazr save time and resources, increase community safety, confirm legitimate campaigns, and support international AML/KYC compliance through access to hundreds of global data sources.
