Using Cameras as a Way to Engage the Community

Community Hospital in Grand Junction, part of the Colorado West Healthcare System, planned a $50 million, 140,000 sq. ft. replacement facility and wanted to engage the public by sharing construction progress. They engaged TrueLook Construction Cameras and purchased a 5MP live camera system that was installed over the jobsite and embedded on the hospital website.

TrueLook Construction Cameras delivered a live feed plus archived photos and time‑lapse video, which the hospital promoted via radio, social media, and TV. Over the 18‑month build the camera was viewed more than 35,000 times by over 19,500 users, significantly raising community awareness and becoming a noted PR success as the new hospital opened on March 17, 2016.
