A TrueLook Construction Cameras Case Study
PCL Construction, the general contractor replacing the inflatable rubber dam at Tempe Town Lake, faced volatile monsoon weather, the risk of spillover damaging expensive equipment, and the need for rigorous project tracking and audit-ready documentation. To manage schedule, safety and budget risks, PCL Construction deployed TrueLook Construction Cameras to continuously monitor the site, weather conditions and security throughout the project.
TrueLook Construction Cameras provided live monitoring, storm and spillover documentation, time‑lapse photography, and security recordings that let PCL pull equipment in time, quantify weather-related delays, keep stakeholders informed, and meet audit requirements for agencies such as the Arizona Department of Water Quality, the Army Corps of Engineers and FEMA. Thanks in part to this monitoring, the project was completed as the largest hydraulically‑operated crest gate dam system in the country, improving flood control, protecting assets, and enabling future development and community use.
