Chicago Auto Show - Customer Case Study

The Chicago Auto Show needed new ways to grow attendance and exhibitor engagement for its massive annual exposition and to better manage the complex move‑in of a 1.2 million‑square‑foot show floor. To solve this, the Chicago Auto Show partnered with TrueLook Construction Cameras, installing telerobotic webcams on the tradeshow floor to monitor installation remotely and to broadcast live views to the public.

TrueLook Construction Cameras provided live, controllable webcams, scheduled shots and time‑lapse captures, plus patented LIVECards for sharing images and capturing emails for marketing. The impact was immediate and measurable: in the first year over 80,000 viewers saw close to 1.3 million live images, and over 10 years 369,000 unique users made nearly 6.5 million visits to view 9.4 million images. Exhibitors gained global exposure, organizers improved move‑in coordination, and the webcams drove ongoing audience engagement and e‑marketing leads.
