Bill Marsh Automotive, Northern Michigan’s largest dealer, needed to recreate the in-person showroom experience online so distant shoppers could confidently buy cars without visiting the lot. To do this the dealership turned to TrueLook Construction Cameras and its network webcam management solution, deploying telerobotic cameras and LIVEcard-enabled photo tools to show inventory, pricing, and service facilities live through a standard browser.
TrueLook Construction Cameras’ solution lets web shoppers pan, zoom and save live images, email photos with deep links, and enables Bill Marsh Automotive to capture customer emails for targeted follow-up. The results were dramatic: web-based sales rose from about seven cars per month to more than 40 (an increase of roughly 30–40 cars monthly), site reach expanded well beyond Michigan, over 65% of buyers visited the website before coming in and about 60% of those used the cameras—delivering clear, measurable boosts in traffic, leads and conversions.
