Halliburton, a leading global energy services provider, faced significant challenges with its manual, paper-based field ticket and inventory tracking processes. These outdated methods caused major delays in billing and a lack of real-time visibility into consignment assets and inventory levels. Seeking a technological solution, Halliburton's drill bits division selected TrueContext (ProntoForms) to modernize its operations and improve data accuracy and speed.

TrueContext implemented two custom mobile solutions: a digital field ticket app to replace carbon copy forms and a mobile inventory app for real-time asset visibility. The results were transformative, enabling real-time data submission from the field, which drastically accelerated the billing process and provided immediate insight into consignment status. The office staff experienced major time savings on reporting and reconciliation, while field personnel, despite initial resistance, ultimately benefited from a process that reduced ticket completion time from 30 minutes to under a minute per ticket.
