ACT Power Services, an independent solar O&M provider operating in 26 US states and managing about 6 gigawatts of generation, faced a data visibility and field-adoption challenge: their CMMS/WOMS couldn’t capture the volume and usability of field data needed to minimize downtime, ensure compliance, and empower technicians. To solve this, ACT turned to the TrueContext platform (formerly ProntoForms) for a scalable, easy-to-use field data capture and workflow solution.

Working with TrueContext, ACT deployed more than 100 customized forms and workflows used daily by 100+ technicians and integrated outputs with their CMMS and SharePoint. The TrueContext implementation automated stakeholder-targeted reporting, enabled real-time tracking and faster, more predictive responses (e.g., faster dissolved gas analysis workflows), and scaled across all 26 states—improving technician collaboration, reporting automation, and overall asset uptime.
