Seniorenheim am Saaleufer is a Bavarian assisted‑living provider operating five nursing homes with more than 250 nurses, physicians and therapists. Facing a critical need to reduce medical errors caused by miscommunication and to protect patient data, SaS selected TrueConf and its on‑premises TrueConf Server as a secure, real‑time collaboration solution for clinicians and staff.

TrueConf deployed TrueConf Server on‑premises (configured in under 15 minutes), providing encrypted video calls, recording, DICOM screen sharing and cross‑platform apps for Windows, Android and iOS. The system connected all five homes and about 250 employees, enabled faster ad‑hoc consultations, simplified handovers, cut business travel costs and—per SaS—reduced the risk of medical errors almost to a minimum while raising overall care quality.
