RentIT is a Hungarian event IT company with nearly 30 years’ experience running video-based events and more than 2,000 events annually. Facing the need to integrate a robust, scalable, non‑cloud video solution into its proprietary Online Event Platform, RentIT found that off‑the‑shelf services could not handle large loads, offered poor integrability and customization, and didn’t meet its data‑security requirements — so the company turned to TrueConf’s self‑hosted/on‑premises solution.

TrueConf was deployed on RentIT’s internal servers, giving full control over data storage and the flexibility to customize conference workflows. The TrueConf on‑premises software eliminated freezes and crashes under heavy loads, let participants join from any device or browser, and scaled events from the prior 50–70 speakers and ~1,000 participants to up to 500 presenters and thousands of attendees. As a result, TrueConf enabled RentIT to run secure, high‑quality virtual and hybrid events at much larger scale and expand its international offerings.
