India’s Police Departments needed to modernize personnel training across Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra by creating a large-scale, securely protected video conferencing infrastructure to speed decision-making and cut down on local meetings, travel and logistical costs. To meet these requirements they selected TrueConf’s on-premises video collaboration platform (TrueConf Server) for its security, resilience to network outages, and ability to run autonomously on police servers.

TrueConf deployed an on-premises TrueConf Server that enabled real-time interaction (desktop sharing, annotations, reactions, and file/video sharing), cross-device access, session recording, and storage within the police’s own infrastructure; using this system the departments remotely trained about 30,000 specialists and significantly accelerated coordination. TrueConf’s platform also unified users on a single address space with a built-in corporate messenger and SIP gateway, improving interdepartmental communication while keeping all data under police control.
