ClinicTracker - Customer Case Study

ClinicTracker, the ClinicTracker EHR from JAG Products, faced growing demand from behavioral health customers for an integrated, HIPAA‑compliant telemedicine solution built into its Patient Portal. Rather than develop in-house, ClinicTracker selected TrueConf and its API to embed WebRTC‑based video conferencing directly into the portal so patients and clinicians could use secure audio/video calls via a browser.

TrueConf’s API was integrated into the ClinicTracker Patient Portal to enable one‑click, browser‑based therapy sessions without installing software. The deployment (implemented in 2019) let patients schedule and join virtual appointments quickly, expanded access for remote or mobility‑restricted patients, and enabled agencies to reach new patients and hire clinicians who work remotely — outcomes many agencies have already realized since adopting the TrueConf-powered feature.
