A TrueCommerce Case Study
zMAX, a manufacturer of micro-lubricants with a growing B2C and B2B business, needed to deliver a positive ecommerce experience while integrating order processing across retail/EDI, eCommerce and B2B channels. To meet this challenge they turned to TrueCommerce, using TrueCommerce EDI (in place since 2009) and the TrueCommerce Nexternal eCommerce Platform to support a new branded web store launched in September 2018 and a longer-term omnichannel strategy.
TrueCommerce implemented Nexternal alongside its proven EDI services to provide a single, scalable environment for storefront, trading-partner onboarding and reporting. The combined TrueCommerce solution supports 12 trading partners (30–50 inbound POs/week and ~50–85 ASNs/invoices), enables twice-daily batch shipping and simpler inventory reconciliation, and gives zMAX marketing actionable campaign data (via dashboards and MailChimp integration) to optimize promotions. TrueCommerce’s responsive support (responses reported within an hour) and subscription/replenishment features helped increase sales, streamline operations and accelerate retailer onboarding.
