Pharmaceutical Company Automates Order Processing End-to-End, Including Chargeback Processing and Warehouse Order Fulfillment

H2-Pharma, a small but growing pharmaceutical distributor, needed to bring EDI in‑house to meet the strict trading requirements of major wholesalers, speed and improve accuracy of chargeback processing, and better integrate with its QuickBooks accounting and 3PL warehouse. To do this it selected TrueCommerce, deploying TrueCommerce EDI for QuickBooks Premier alongside EmpowerRM to automate contract management and chargeback workflows.

TrueCommerce implemented a three‑way integration (QuickBooks, TrueCommerce EDI and EmpowerRM) that automates order-to-invoice processing, chargeback validation and EDI exchanges with the 3PL and wholesalers. The solution handles roughly 600–700 EDI documents per week across about 15 trading partners (95% with the three major wholesalers), lowered operating costs versus outsourced EDI, sped dispute resolution, reduced errors, enabled catching wholesaler mistakes that could total hundreds of thousands of dollars, and let H2-Pharma scale volume without adding staff.
