King’s Hawaiian, a nationally recognized baker, needed to streamline high-volume B2B and B2C order processing, meet major retailers’ EDI mandates, and provide a polished direct-to-consumer storefront while integrating with its Sage 500 ERP. TrueCommerce implemented automated EDI with its Transaction Manager tied to Sage 500 ERP and deployed the Nexternal storefront, validating and exporting EDI documents to eliminate rekeying and errors and launching a branded online store in days. The TrueCommerce solution now handles several hundred EDI orders daily, supports roughly 85 trading partners (about 85% of customers use EDI), and saved King’s Hawaiian from hiring an estimated two additional customer service staff while delivering strong customer feedback.
