JML, a £100 million global consumer-products leader, faced an outdated, fragmented EDI landscape that could not support new requirements (notably Euro invoicing) and exposed the business to errors and risk. To consolidate and scale its EDI, JML outsourced its requirements to TrueCommerce, adopting TrueCommerce’s trading partner platform and managed EDI service and integrating the solution with its Sage and Dynamics 365 ERP systems.

TrueCommerce delivered a fully managed trading partner platform, onboarding JML’s customers and enabling exchange of orders, invoices, ASNs, remittances and debits with ten key retailers (with a further ten being onboarded), while proactively monitoring and validating messages. The result was faster, automated processing (invoice batches cut from up to an hour to minutes), fewer validation errors and invoice queries, elimination of late‑processing penalties, quicker payments, reduced IT complexity and improved productivity.
