HNS Global, the consumer health and wellness distributor behind brands like Slim-Fast, faced a sudden, high‑stakes challenge when it took over Slim-Fast: within three months it had to assume responsibility for more than 60 new EDI trading partners, several new 3PL relationships, and a two‑fold increase in order volume while simultaneously moving to Sage X3. To handle this, HNS Global expanded its existing TrueCommerce deployment, leveraging TrueCommerce EDI for Sage X3 plus the TrueCommerce Scheduler add‑on and support services.
TrueCommerce delivered a web‑based, Sage X3‑integrated EDI solution with prebuilt partner maps and hands‑on support, enabling HNS Global to onboard the new partners on time (go‑live July 30, 2016) and automate order‑to‑cash and warehouse documents. As a result HNS now transacts with about 100 trading partners and four 3PLs, handles 7,000–10,000 EDI transactions per month, processes 1,500+ orders monthly with just two people (instead of roughly five), transacts 90% of sales via EDI, and avoids chargebacks of up to $150 per paper invoice—delivering rapid, sustained ROI for TrueCommerce’s solution.
