Consumer Electronics Distributor Handles a High Volume of Drop-Ship and B2B Orders for Major Retailers with TrueCommerce EDI for NetSuite ERP

Cesium, a Canadian distributor of wireless and consumer electronics accessories, needed to streamline order processing and reduce errors to meet the procurement and shipping requirements of major retailers like Walmart, Source, Staples and Best Buy. To automate EDI transaction imports into its NetSuite ERP and support high-volume drop-ship and B2B orders, Cesium selected TrueCommerce and deployed TrueCommerce EDI for NetSuite ERP.

TrueCommerce implemented its EDI integration and Scheduler to automatically import EDI 850 purchase orders into NetSuite, handle spikes of roughly 50–300 orders per day, and prevent duplicate postings with built‑in process controls. The solution delivered faster, more accurate order creation, a 24‑hour drop‑ship turnaround capability, and an estimated company‑wide savings equivalent to about two full‑time staff; Cesium also cites superior TrueCommerce support and plans to expand EDI use (including ASN 856) across more processes.
