Vital Pet Products, a national pet and aquatic trade wholesaler supplying more than 19,500 products from six warehouses, faced the challenge of trading across both retail and farming communities with differing EDI standards and proprietary message requirements. To solve this, Vital Pet Products engaged TrueCommerce and deployed TrueCommerce’s smart any-to-any connectivity and translation solution to handle both standard retail EDI and the unique First 4 Farming (F4F) messaging.

TrueCommerce built an integration “bridge” with F4F and delivered a single point of visibility and control for Vital’s e‑business transactions, enabling the wholesaler to service retail and farming customers from the same platform. As a result of TrueCommerce’s solution, Vital Pet Products now manages its 19,500‑product catalogue across six warehouses more efficiently, maintains a high level of customer service, and successfully transacts with the F4F network.
