Blast Zone Drives Drop Ship Program with TrueCommerce

Blast Zone, a leading global manufacturer of bounce houses, water parks and other inflatables, needed to automate order processing, eliminate manual errors and meet major retailers’ procurement requirements to support a growing drop-ship program with partners like Kohl’s, Bed Bath & Beyond and Target. To address this, Blast Zone implemented TrueCommerce EDI integrated with QuickBooks Enterprise, engaging TrueCommerce to streamline EDI transactions and connect their order and fulfillment workflows.

TrueCommerce set up an EDI-for-QuickBooks solution that exports incoming EDI 850 purchase orders directly to QuickBooks, routes orders to 3PL warehouses, and returns tracking as EDI 856 ASNs and EDI 810 invoices to retailers. The TrueCommerce implementation made order processing faster and more accurate, reduced manual effort and errors, supported seasonal spikes from ~25–30 POs per day to 100–300, and provided responsive support with issues typically resolved within 24 hours.
