Swedish Armed Forces -Customer Case Study

The Swedish Armed Forces, a 17,000-person national defence organisation with units at home and abroad, reorganised to smaller, dispersed units and created an ADL (Advanced Distributed Learning) unit to standardise training. The new unit needed a single authoring tool that would integrate with their LMS and be usable across a wide range of learners and training levels, replacing a patchwork of production tools that produced inconsistent eLearning.

They selected Lectora from Trivantis for its low learning threshold, drag-and-drop interface, PowerPoint integration and suitability for both novice and advanced authors. Since adoption, about ten modules have been published and another ten are in progress, with decentralised subject-matter experts producing content centrally managed and delivered via the LMS—improving preparatory learning (e.g., “The science of war”), consistency, maintainability and responsiveness thanks to Trivantis support.
