Canadian Fitness Education Services Ltd (CFES) is a Canadian publisher and fitness education provider with more than 25 years’ experience creating Fitness Leadership Program resources aligned with the National Fitness Leadership Alliance (NFLA). To reach students who couldn’t attend classrooms, CFES built distance and online versions of its course, but its original authoring tool, Authorware, became obsolete and difficult to maintain, leaving the team in need of an easy-to-use replacement.

After evaluating options, CFES selected Lectora by Trivantis for its low learning curve and speed. Two in-house developers used Lectora to rapidly build a highly interactive online program with videos, voiceovers, animations and illustrations, improving clarity for exercise instruction and creating a more engaging, effective learning experience that supports learners pursuing transferable fitness certification.
