BP America Inc equips 31,135-square-foot office with TRITECH Communications

BP America Inc., one of the world's largest energy companies, faced a challenge when relocating its government affairs office. The project required a complete new data/telecom cabling infrastructure and advanced audio visual systems for its conference and meeting spaces. To meet this need, they partnered with vendor TRITECH Communications for technology design-build integration services.

TRITECH Communications was awarded the project to design, furnish, and install the comprehensive technology solution. This included nine presentation technology systems, a dedicated videoconferencing suite, and a multi-display executive boardroom, along with all data and telephone cabling for the 31,135 square foot office. The successful project resulted in the office space achieving the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED Commercial Interiors Platinum certification and winning the 2009 Office Project of the Year Award.
