How the French mining and metallurgy giant Eramet replaced Excel with the PPM Tool Triskell for its IT Department’s macro & micromanagement needs

Eramet, the French mining and metallurgical group, was undergoing a major IT transformation and needed to replace scattered Excel-based portfolio tracking and inconsistent tools across teams. To support its “One Information System” initiative, Eramet turned to Triskell Software and its PPM tool to create a more unified, governed approach to managing IT demand, projects, and portfolios.

Triskell Software implemented a progressive PPM rollout for Eramet’s IT department, covering portfolio management, project and demand management, risk tracking, scoring, budgeting, and reporting. The solution now supports over 200 users, 140 projects managed simultaneously, and 150 initiatives across two portfolios, and its success led Eramet to extend Triskell as the reference PPM solution for the group’s industrial project portfolio as well.
