Steigenberger Hotels, which operates 89 hotels across Europe and Northern Africa, wanted to increase direct bookings and reduce dependence on OTAs while improving price transparency and guest trust. To support this goal, Steigenberger worked with Triptease and its Price Check widget and data dashboards to better manage booking parity across its brands.

Triptease implemented the Price Check widget on Steigenberger’s booking engine and used real-time parity tools, including the Disparity Dungeon, to monitor and resolve undercutting by third-party sites. The result was a 61% average conversion uplift, with 63% uplift for Steigenberger properties and 52% for Intercity properties, plus a reduction in disparity cases from 16% to under 8% and an overall ROI of 1:49.
