Case Study: WellTrans achieves full operational readiness in 90 days and 100% compliance with TripSpark's NovusMED

A TripSpark Case Study

Preview of the WellTrans Case Study

How WellTrans Became Fully Operational in Just 90 Days

WellTrans is a newly formed NEMT provider in Indianapolis, created to arrange non-emergency medical transportation for Anthem Medicaid members across rural Indiana. Faced with a near‑impossible 90‑day deadline to build an operation from scratch — offices, call center, staffing and the capacity to coordinate 30,000–35,000 monthly trips while meeting strict compliance and service standards — the company needed a rapid, reliable solution.

WellTrans partnered with TripSpark and deployed the NovusMED NEMT platform, going live November 1, 2020. With TripSpark’s support they hit 90–95% of target metrics in the first month and reached 100% compliance by the end of February 2021, meeting call‑center targets (average speed of answer <35 seconds) and positioning the company for statewide rollout and further contract growth.
