Kaiser Permanente, with its San Francisco campus shuttles operated by REEF Technology, faced a significant challenge due to a lack of GPS tracking for its fleet. This led to unreliable service with late and missed stops, an inability to verify rider complaints, and idling citations from the local government that could not be disputed. They turned to the vendor TripShot for a technology solution to provide accurate ETAs and GPS capabilities.

TripShot implemented its mobility management solution, which delivered real-time vehicle tracking, extensive reporting tools, and driver training resources. This provided the data needed to improve dispatch, resolve rider issues, and successfully dispute citations. The solution resulted in improved rider satisfaction from accurate ETAs, a significant reduction in idling citations, and has served over 230,000 riders since 2019.
