Forklift Safety Systems and RTLS for B/S/H

B/S/H has a dynamic 220,000 m2 factory area where pedestrians and forklifts are operating closely, creating potential safety hazards. To address these safety risks, a security system has been effectively implemented, encompassing 250 forklifts and over 1000 pedestrians to alert forklift operators and pedestrians when there is a dangerous proximity between each other. In addition, a zone-based forklift safety system is implemented at 250 zones to automatically slow down forklifts when they enter dangerous zones. Real-time location tracking systems were also implemented to cover a 60,000 m2 area for efficient operation management. This project now stands as one of the largest IoT-based forklift safety projects in Europe and Trio Mobil is chosen as the vendor for B/S/H.
