Hotelbeds Group - Customer Case Study

Hotelbeds Group, a major travel distributor and bedbank, needed a way to gain visibility into the performance of its high-volume APIs and use that data to manage rapid growth, improve operations, and support decision-making across the business. In 2013, it selected Triometric and its Trio Analytics API business intelligence platform to monitor search and booking traffic and provide real-time insights across an increasingly complex distribution environment.

Triometric implemented Trio Analytics to capture and analyze API traffic, detect errors and anomalies, and deliver dashboards and drill-down reporting for operational and business users. The solution was extended to support new APIs, JSON, hybrid cloud and on-premise environments, and large acquired traffic streams, while helping Hotelbeds scale from a 50x traffic increase to as many as 3 billion daily search requests and replies by 2019. As a result, Hotelbeds improved API performance, strengthened supplier and inventory management, and gained richer business insights to support pricing, product, and market strategy.
