Multiple systems, inconsistent practices across business units and limited visibility into the balance sheet eroded confidence in reported numbers and increased enterprise risk.
Serco implemented Trintech’s Cadency Record‑to‑Report platform to standardize balance‑sheet management, apply risk‑based reconciliation frequency, and integrate SAP data. The rollout automated reconciliations and matching—running 5,000 monthly reconciliations, auto‑matching 15,000 accounts and saving about 500 hours per month—leading to improved reporting accuracy, reduced risk and errors, greater compliance and real‑time visibility that freed teams to focus on higher‑value work.
