RE/MAX, a publicly traded international real estate franchisor, was relying on disparate Excel spreadsheets and highly manual workflows to close its books, creating inconsistency and exposing the company to risk when disclosing monthly results. The accounting and SEC reporting teams needed a standardized, automated way to reconcile accounts and manage close tasks.
In May 2020 RE/MAX implemented Adra Balancer and Adra Task Manager by Trintech across Payroll, AR, AP, GL and SEC Reporting, loading roughly 700 accounts monthly (about 450 on a quarterly cadence). The solution enabled rule-based auto-reconciliation for low‑value accounts, cross-legal-entity grouping, realtime dashboards, and task tracking with audit trails—reducing effort, increasing visibility and consistency, and restoring confidence in the integrity of their financial disclosures.
