LB Forsikring, a member-owned Danish insurance company with over 400,000 members and about 750 employees, needed to tighten its financial documentation and audit trail to meet regulatory requirements. Their period-end close relied on disparate Excel spreadsheets, which was resource‑intensive, lacked process visibility and documentation, and made it hard to respond to bookkeeping changes or audits.
They implemented Adra by Trintech—using Balancer, Matcher and Task Manager—to automate imports from the ERP, provide day‑to‑day balance updates, attach documentation to items, set task dependencies and send automatic notifications. The result was faster, more consistent reconciliations, a clear audit trail and continuous oversight of tasks and bottlenecks, improving collaboration, flexibility and overall efficiency in the close process.
