HANZA Gains Greater Visibility and Control Over Financial Close Process with Adra® by Trintech

HANZA, a global manufacturing services company listed on the Sweden stock market in 2019, faced a manual, spreadsheet-driven month-end close that lacked visibility and auditor-ready proof of dual review. Relying on Excel and Word meant weak internal controls and difficulty demonstrating compliance with auditors’ requirements for documented reviews and approvals.

HANZA implemented Trintech’s Adra Balancer and Adra Task Manager to automate balance sheet reconciliations and close tasks across its Shared Service Centers. The solution delivered real-time dashboards and audit-ready documentation, reduced preparatory work for auditors, consolidated ~1,400 accounts into about 470 monthly approvals, supported remote closing during COVID-19, and was rolled out from Sweden to Estonia, Finland and Poland—improving control, efficiency and visibility across the financial close.
