Delivering Enterprise-Wide Transparency and Control Enhances Efficiency and Effectiveness

Genpact, a global business process management firm, needed to deliver a general ledger reconciliation and certification solution for its major client Ahold. Facing heavy paper-based processes across multiple countries and roughly 2,500 GL accounts, Genpact aimed to move to a paperless workflow, automate storage of reconciliation data, enable remote peer review and audits, standardize reporting and dashboards, and strengthen controls.

Genpact implemented Trintech’s Cadency Certification across five Ahold business units, creating a centralized, enterprise-wide online platform for reconciliations, reviews and approvals. The solution eliminated binders and printing, improved real-time visibility and SOX compliance, sped exception identification and resolution, and saved time for reconcilers—leading Genpact to consider wider rollout to other clients.
