Coty Achieves Global Process Standardization and Significant FTE Savings across the Financial Close Process with Accenture and Trintech

Coty, a global beauty company with more than 50 brands, ~23,000 employees and ~$5B in revenue, faced a complex, manual month‑end close: disparate journal-entry processes across finance and non‑finance teams, manual tracking and approvals, poor visibility and non‑standardized tasks. After a Global Design Assessment and a transformation engagement with Accenture, Coty sought a single, SAP‑integrated solution to standardize, automate and accelerate its financial close.

Working with Accenture, Coty deployed Trintech’s Cadency® Platform, using structured design, build and configuration phases to integrate with SAP, enable auto‑approval/auto‑posting, centralize documentation and standardize task checklists. In the first year this delivered roughly 15 FTEs of savings, 40% auto‑reconciliation, 95% accuracy in reconciliations and journal entries, improved reporting and controls, and a scalable global close framework.
