PointClickCare, a cloud-based software platform for the senior care market, needed to ensure that patient data processed by its Analytics platform could meet HIPAA requirements in AWS. The company also wanted to productize its deployment automation and build a continuous delivery pipeline without losing separation of duties or the ability to use the same tool chain outside production.

TriNimbus designed and implemented a secure private network for the Analytics platform, connected it securely to PointClickCare’s production data center, and worked with its teams on DevOps automation using Chef, CloudFormation, and AWS services such as VPC, S3, IAM, Route 53, ELB, and AutoScaling. The result was a fully automated, code-managed infrastructure that met HIPAA requirements, improved deployment automation, and supported scaling for higher data volumes and processing demand.
